This declaration presents the theological foundation of the “Road of the 24 Confessors,” the core framework of the Bible365Mission project. It affirms that the twenty-four figures are not merely academic theologians, but belong to a genealogical line of confessors who inherit the witness tradition of the early Church. This declaration proclaims the theological necessity of the identity transformation from theologian to witness to confessor, grounded in historical theology and ecclesiology. Integrating the Church’s tradition of testimony, martyr theology, and apostolic succession, this declaration affirms why the 24 theologians must be redefined as the 24 confessors.

I. Problem Statement  

Modern Christianity tends to define theologians primarily as academic researchers, reducing theology to a system of knowledge. However, throughout Church history, theology was born from confession and formed in the context of witness and martyrdom. This declaration calls for the restoration of theology as a lived confession before it is an academic discipline.
