복의 길을 다시 구할 수 있다.

Even within a name marked by pain,

one who cries out to God

may seek again the way of blessing.

야베스는 계보 속에 짧게 등장합니다.

그의 이름은 고통과 관련되어 있습니다.

Jabez appears briefly within the genealogy.

His name is connected with pain.

Yet he was not trapped by his name or circumstances.

He cried out to the God of Israel.

IV. 🧠 해석 | Interpretation

역대상 4장의 계보 안에서

야베스의 기도는 특별합니다.

계보는 이름을 기억하고,

기도는 그 이름이 하나님께 나아가는 길을 보여 줍니다.

야베스는 복을 구했습니다.

그러나 그 복은 단순한 욕망이 아니라,

하나님의 손이 함께하시고,

환난에서 지키시며,

삶의 지경을 하나님의 뜻 안에서 열어 달라는 기도였습니다.

Within the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 4,

the prayer of Jabez is remarkable.

Genealogy remembers the name,

and prayer shows the way

that the name comes before God.

Jabez asked for blessing.

But this blessing was not mere desire.

It was a prayer that God’s hand would be with him,

that God would keep him from harm,

and that his life would be opened within God’s will.

V. 🔥 적용 | Application

나는 내 과거의 이름,

상처의 이름,

실패의 이름에 갇혀 있지는 않은가?

하나님께 다시 부르짖고 있는가?

하나님의 손이 내 삶과 사명 위에 함께하시기를 구하고 있는가?

Am I trapped by the name of my past,

the name of my wound,

or the name of my failure?

Am I crying out to God again?

Am I asking for the hand of God

to be with my life and calling?

VI. 🙏 기도 | Prayer

주님,

고통의 이름 속에서도

하나님께 부르짖는 믿음을 주소서.

주의 손이 저와 함께하시고,

환난에서 지키시며,

하나님의 뜻 안에서 제 삶의 지경을 열어 주소서.

Lord,

give me faith to cry out to You

even within a name marked by pain.

Let Your hand be with me,

keep me from harm,

and open the borders of my life

within Your will.

VIII. 마지막 권면 | Final Counsel

고통의 이름이

마지막 이름은 아닙니다.

하나님께 부르짖는 사람은

은혜 안에서 다시 세워질 수 있습니다.

A name of pain

is not the final name.

The one who cries out to God

can be rebuilt in grace.
