역대상 1–3장은

긴 계보로 시작합니다.

처음 읽을 때 이 계보는

단순한 이름 목록처럼 보일 수 있습니다.

그러나 역대상에서 계보는

무너진 백성을 다시 세우는

신학적 출발점입니다.

열왕기하는

왕국이 왜 무너졌는지를 보여 주었습니다.

말씀을 떠나고,

언약을 버리고,

우상을 따랐기 때문에

왕국은 무너졌습니다.

그 후 시편 4권과 5권은

무너진 백성의 마음을 하나님께 돌이켰습니다.

하나님은 여전히 왕이시고,

말씀과 찬양은 백성을 다시 세웁니다.

이제 역대상은

그 백성에게 다시 묻습니다.

“너희는 누구인가?”

1 Chronicles 1–3 begins with a long genealogy.

At first, this genealogy may seem

like a simple list of names.

But in 1 Chronicles,

genealogy is the theological starting point

for rebuilding a fallen people.

2 Kings showed why the kingdom collapsed.

The kingdom fell

because the people departed from the Word,

abandoned the covenant,

and followed idols.

After that, Psalms Books IV and V

turned the heart of the fallen people back to God.

God is still King,

and the Word and praise rebuild His people.

Now 1 Chronicles asks them again:

“Who are you?”

Ⅲ. 신학적 의미 | Theological Meaning

역대상은

아담에서 시작합니다.

이것은 이스라엘의 역사를

좁은 민족사로만 보지 않게 합니다.

이스라엘의 뿌리는

창조와 인류의 시작까지 이어집니다.

그리고 그 흐름은

아브라함과 이삭과 야곱,

이스라엘의 아들들,

유다 지파,

다윗 왕가로 이어집니다.

특히 유다와 다윗의 계보는

역대상의 중심 방향을 보여 줍니다.

역대상은

무너진 백성을

다윗 언약과 성전 준비의 방향으로

다시 정렬합니다.

1 Chronicles begins with Adam.

This prevents Israel’s history

from being reduced to a narrow national story.

Israel’s roots reach back

to creation and the beginning of humanity.

Then the flow moves

through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob,

the sons of Israel,

the tribe of Judah,

and the house of David.

The genealogies of Judah and David especially show

the central direction of 1 Chronicles.

1 Chronicles realigns the fallen people

toward the Davidic covenant

and the preparation for the temple.

Ⅳ. 적용 | Application

우리도 무너질 때

자기 정체성을 잃기 쉽습니다.

실패가 나를 정의하는 것처럼 느껴지고,

상황이 내 이름을 지워 버린 것처럼 느껴질 때가 있습니다.

그러나 하나님은

자기 백성의 이름을 잊지 않으십니다.

계보는 말합니다.

하나님은 기억하신다.

하나님은 부르신다.

하나님은 언약 안에서

무너진 백성을 다시 세우신다.

When we collapse,

we easily lose our identity.

Failure feels as though it defines us,

and circumstances feel

as though they have erased our name.

But God does not forget

the names of His people.

Genealogy declares:

God remembers.

God calls.

God rebuilds the fallen people

within His covenant.

Ⅴ. 마지막 권면 | Final Counsel

역대상 1–3장은

무너진 백성에게

이름의 기억과 언약의 뿌리를 회복시킵니다.

하나님은

흩어진 백성을 이름 없이 버려두지 않으십니다.

그들의 뿌리를 다시 보게 하시고,

언약 안에서 다시 세우십니다.

오늘도 하나님 안에서

나의 정체성을 다시 붙드십시오.

1 Chronicles 1–3 restores

the memory of names

and the roots of covenant

to a fallen people.

God does not leave His scattered people nameless.

He makes them see their roots again

and rebuilds them within His covenant.

Hold again today

to your identity in God.
