잠언 29–31장은

잠언 전체의 결론처럼 읽힙니다.

29장은

책망을 듣지 않는 완고함과

의로운 통치의 중요성을 말합니다.

30장은

인간의 한계와 하나님의 말씀의 순전함을 고백합니다.

31장은

왕의 책임과

여호와를 경외하는 삶의 아름다움을 보여 줍니다.

잠언 31:30은

사람이 쉽게 붙드는 매력과 외적 아름다움이

영원한 기준이 될 수 없음을 말합니다.

하나님 앞에서 칭찬받는 삶은

여호와를 경외하는 삶입니다.

Proverbs 29–31 reads like a conclusion

to the whole book of Proverbs.

Chapter 29 speaks of stubbornness

that refuses correction

and the importance of righteous rule.

Chapter 30 confesses human limitation

and the purity of God’s Word.

Chapter 31 shows the responsibility of a king

and the beauty of a life that fears the LORD.

Proverbs 31:30 teaches

that charm and outward beauty,

which people easily hold onto,

cannot become eternal standards.

The life praised before God

is the life that fears the LORD.

IV. 🧠 해석 | Interpretation

잠언은 처음부터 끝까지

여호와를 경외하는 지혜를 가르칩니다.

잠언 1:7은

여호와를 경외하는 것이 지식의 근본이라고 말했고,

잠언 31:30은

여호와를 경외하는 사람이 칭찬받는다고 말합니다.

이것은 잠언의 큰 흐름을 닫는 고백입니다.

지혜는

말을 잘하는 기술이나

성공하는 방법만이 아닙니다.

지혜는

하나님 앞에서 바르게 사는 삶입니다.

매력은 사람의 눈을 끌 수 있습니다.

아름다움은 잠시 빛날 수 있습니다.

능력은 사람들에게 인정받을 수 있습니다.

그러나 하나님 앞에서 남는 것은

여호와를 경외하는 마음과

그 마음에서 나온 삶의 열매입니다.

Proverbs teaches from beginning to end

the wisdom that fears the LORD.

Proverbs 1:7 says

that the fear of the LORD

is the beginning of knowledge,

and Proverbs 31:30 says

that the one who fears the LORD

is to be praised.

This is a closing confession

of the whole movement of Proverbs.

Wisdom is not merely

a skill for speaking well

or a method for success.

Wisdom is a life lived rightly before God.

Charm may attract human eyes.

Beauty may shine for a moment.

Ability may receive human recognition.

But what remains before God

is the fear of the LORD

and the fruit of life

that flows from it.

사람들의 칭찬입니까?

잠언은 우리를 다시 하나님 앞에 세웁니다.

사람의 눈에 보이는 아름다움보다

하나님을 경외하는 마음이 더 귀합니다.

사람들의 박수보다

하나님 앞에서 바른 삶이 더 중요합니다.

오늘 나의 말과 선택과 관계와 일 속에서

여호와를 경외하는 마음이 드러나야 합니다.

What do I want to be recognized for today?

Appearance?

Ability?

Achievement?

Human praise?

Proverbs brings us back before God.

A heart that fears God

is more precious

than beauty seen by human eyes.

A life that is right before God

is more important

than the applause of people.

Today,

the fear of the LORD must be revealed

in my words,

choices,

relationships,

and work.

VI. 🙏 기도 | Prayer

주님,

겉모습과 사람의 칭찬에 마음을 빼앗기지 않게 하소서.

매력과 아름다움과 성취보다

여호와를 경외하는 마음을 더 귀하게 여기게 하소서.

제 삶이 사람 앞의 과시가 아니라

하나님 앞의 순종이 되게 하소서.

Lord,

do not let my heart be captured

by appearance or human praise.

Help me value the fear of the LORD

more than charm,

beauty,

or achievement.

Let my life not be self-display before people,

but obedience before God.
