칼빈의 관점에서

인간이 가진 재능과 능력은

스스로 만들어 낸

독립적인 소유물이 아닙니다.

모든 선한 것은

하나님의 섭리와 은혜 안에서

받은 것입니다.

그러므로 성공은

자기 숭배의 근거가 아니라

감사의 이유가 되어야 합니다.

From Calvin’s perspective,

human abilities and gifts

are not independent possessions

created entirely by ourselves.

Every good gift

is received

within God’s providence

and grace.

Success therefore

should become

a reason for gratitude,

not self-exaltation.

II. 코메니우스 | Comenius

코메니우스의 관점에서

지식이 많아질수록

인간은 자신의 한계도

더 정확히 배워야 합니다.

교육이 능력만 키우고

겸손을 가르치지 않는다면

그 능력은

교만을 확대하는 도구가

될 수 있습니다.

From Comenius’s perspective,

as knowledge increases,

we must also learn

our human limits

more clearly.

If education increases ability

without cultivating humility,

that very ability

can magnify pride.

III. 본회퍼 | Bonhoeffer

본회퍼의 관점에서

그리스도를 따르는 삶은

자신을 삶의 중심에 두는 태도와

충돌합니다.

받은 능력을

자기 확대를 위해서만 사용하는 것이 아니라

하나님과 이웃을 위해

책임 있게 사용해야 합니다.

From Bonhoeffer’s perspective,

following Christ

conflicts with placing

the self at the center of life.

The abilities entrusted to us

are not merely

for self-expansion.

They are to be used

responsibly

before God

and for our neighbor.

📖 오늘의 교훈 | Today’s Lesson

“내 것이다”라는 말보다 먼저

“받은 것이다”라는 사실을

기억하십시오.

소유는

감사와 책임을 요구합니다.

능력은

교만의 이유가 아니라

섬김의 도구입니다.

Before saying,

“It is mine,”

remember first:

“It was given.”

Possession brings

gratitude and responsibility.

Ability is not

a reason for pride,

but a means for service.

you are tempted

to boast about today.

Before boasting,

turn it into gratitude:

“Lord,

this too

has been entrusted to me

by You.”
