I. 질문의 시작 | The Beginning of the Question

AI는 인간의 언어를 사용하고, 그림을 만들며, 음악을 작곡하고, 방대한 정보를 분석한다.

앞으로 AI의 능력은 더욱 빠르게 확장될 것이다.

그러나 기술이 인간의 능력을 닮아갈수록 우리는 더 근본적인 질문을 해야 한다.

“인간은 누구인가?”

AI uses human language, creates images and music, and analyzes enormous amounts of information.

Its capabilities will continue to expand rapidly.

But the more technology resembles human abilities, the more fundamental our question must become:

“Who are we?”

II. 인간과 기계의 경계 | The Boundary Between Human and Machine

기계는 계산할 수 있다.

AI는 예측하고 생성하며 인간의 판단을 지원할 수 있다.

그러나 계산 능력이 곧 인간됨을 의미하지는 않는다.

인간은 단순히 정보를 처리하는 존재가 아니다.

인간은 의미를 묻고, 사랑하며, 관계를 맺고, 선택하고, 자신의 선택에 책임지는 존재이다.

Machines can calculate.

AI can predict, generate, and support human judgment.

But computational ability does not constitute humanity.

Human beings are not merely processors of information.

We seek meaning, love, form relationships, make choices, and bear responsibility for those choices.

III. 하나님의 형상 | Imago Dei

기독교교육은 인간을 하나님의 형상으로 창조된 존재로 바라본다.

“하나님이 자기 형상 곧 하나님의 형상대로 사람을 창조하시되”

— 창세기 1:27

인간의 가치는 지능, 생산성, 속도 또는 경제적 효율성에서 나오지 않는다.

인간의 존엄은 창조주와의 관계에서 시작된다.

Christian education understands humanity as created in the image of God.

“So God created mankind in his own image.”

— Genesis 1:27

Human worth does not originate in intelligence, productivity, speed, or economic efficiency.

Human dignity begins in our relationship with the Creator.

IV. 강화되는 인간 | The Enhanced Human

AI, 생명공학, 유전자 기술과 인간 증강 기술은 앞으로 인간의 능력을 크게 확장할 수 있다.

그러나 교육은 반드시 질문해야 한다.

“더 강한 인간이 더 인간다운 인간인가?”

능력의 향상이 인격의 성숙을 보장하지 않는다.

지식의 증가가 지혜의 증가를 의미하지도 않는다.

AI, biotechnology, genetic technologies, and human enhancement may greatly extend human capabilities.

But education must ask:

“Does becoming more powerful make us more human?”

Greater ability does not guarantee greater character.

More knowledge does not necessarily produce more wisdom.

V. 교육의 출발점 | The Starting Point of Education

미래의 기독교교육은 기술보다 먼저 인간을 가르쳐야 한다.

나는 누구인가?

왜 살아가는가?

무엇을 사랑해야 하는가?

무엇에 책임져야 하는가?

누구 앞에서 살아가는가?

이 질문을 잃으면 교육은 인간을 효율적인 기술 사용자로 만들 수는 있어도 올바른 인간으로 세우지는 못한다.

Christian education for the future must teach what it means to be human before teaching technology.

Who am I?

Why do I live?

What should I love?

For what am I responsible?

Before whom do I live?

Without these questions, education may produce efficient users of technology, but it cannot form faithful human beings.

VI. 2100을 향한 선언 | Declaration Toward 2100

인간은 업그레이드 대상이 아니라 창조된 존재이다.

기술은 인간의 능력을 확장할 수 있다.

그러나 기술이 인간의 가치를 정의해서는 안 된다.

교육은 인간에게 더 많은 능력을 주는 것에서 끝나지 않는다.

하나님 앞에서 자신의 소명을 발견하고 책임 있게 살아가는 인간을 세워야 한다.

Human beings are not objects to be upgraded, but beings created by God.

Technology may extend human capabilities.

But technology must not define human worth.

Education must do more than increase human ability.

It must form people who discover their calling and live responsibly before God.
